This position reports to the SVP and Chief Financial Officer and will be a part of a team handling negotiation and documentation of (and legal advice related to) license agreements and related agreements and matters for company - a medical device and services company. The Director, Business & Legal Affairs will provide business and legal perspective on strategic, tactical and operational issues. Responsibilities will include a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, acquisitions and divestitures, governance, intellectual property, regulatory matters, labor and employment matters, contracts, and general day-to-day legal matters.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
