We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation within the manufacturing sector, with a strong background in modifying or programming PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, particularly with expertise in Allen Bradley platforms.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to improve our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.

Key
Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including but not limited to PLC programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Modify existing PLC programs to enhance functionality, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with new equipment or processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and engineering to identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on the use and maintenance of automation equipment and systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in industrial automation, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance productivity and competitiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on PLC programming and modification.
  • Strong proficiency in programming PLC systems, particularly with Allen Bradley platforms (Rockwell Automation).
  • Experience with HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.
    g.
    , Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and automation principles, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all aspects of automation design and implementation.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Bachelors egree in Engineering or related field.
  • Certification in PLC programming or industrial automation technologies.
  • Experience with other PLC platforms such as Alllen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric.
  • Familiarity with robotics, motion control systems, and advanced automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
