Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency required Data Manager Skillet Requirements:
Possesses an organized approach and excellent time managements skills Prioritize and structure tasks to meet deadlines and expectations Possesses the ability to work well as part of a team Possesses computer literacy and good keyboarding skills Possesses good numeracy skills Maintains accuracy and attention to detail Maintains professionalism at all times Possesses administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment/withdrawal, attendance, immunizations, and health records Possesses effective communication skills to communicate with school personnel, students, parents, and outside agencies Effectively uses software for data entry, reporting, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, and PowerSchool program Uses discretion and keeps information confidential when working with sensitive student/staff information Needs limited supervision and is able to work independently and as a part of a team Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instructions Ability to make decisions and solve problems with school data and information provided Works well under pressure Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
PowerSchool Student Information Management, including but not limited to:
Enrollments Withdrawals Discipline Student/Teacher/Room Schedules Transcripts Historical Grade Test Scores Immunizations Demographics Attendance and Grade Management Monitors the entry of attendance and grades by teachers into PowerSchool Monitors student absences for correct excused/unexcused coding Prepares student absence lists and daily absence bulletin Maintains student sign-in/sign-out logs, based upon directions from coordinator Corresponds with parents concerning student absences and tardiness, including attendance letters per school district procedures Directs teachers concerning attendance procedures and policies Student Entry and Withdrawals (in coordination with administration) Enrolls new students throughout the year Enters basic student and demographic information Processes arriving student's cumulative records Prepares cumulative records for departing students Withdraws departing student from PowerSchool Maintains files of arriving/departing students' cumulative records Copies and send cumulative records for withdrawing students Maintains a log of students when entered and departed the school throughout the year Requests cumulative records for new students and sends cumulative records upon request for exiting students Manages student cumulative records according to federal (FERPA) and district policies and procedures.
(Exception for grades 9-12; other clerical staff may be responsible for records duties at the discretion of the principal) Collects data for and prints marking period report cards PowerSchool-Reporting and Audits Generate reports that satisfy the requirements from the following School Administrators; District Administrators; Local and State Government; Law Enforcement; Health Agencies and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Calculates and prepares Honor Rolls Performs historical testing audits on student records Monthly and Quarterly Reports Include:
Principal Monthly Report (PMR) Student Activity Report (SAR) Monthly and Quarterly Data Team reports Scheduling reports Headcount reports Civil Rights Data Collection Spring and Fall AIG Discipline Alternative Learning Report Common Follow-up Dropout data collection Retention/promotion/graduation report.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
