Summary:
Direct and coordinate college-wide institutional research and effectiveness efforts and the implementation of planning and assessment process which result in continuous institutional improvement and SACS-COC accreditation. Through knowledge of best practices and in partnership with leadership, define, establish and promote organization-wide metrics that fully leverage existing data sources within the college, the state system, and other external reference points (from AACC,ITC, etc.) against which the college can measure progress and continually pursue institutional excellence. Publish all required research and planning documents, including but not limited to the strategic plan, the QEP, the Fact Book, manuals on accreditation, revisions and updates of institutional policy and procedural manuals, and responses to federal and state agencies. Develops predictive measurements to facilitate appropriate interventions. Act as primary point of contact for accrediting agencies including Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges.

Required Education/Experience Skills:
Master's Degree in Business, Research, Information Technology, Social Sciences or equivalent and 4-6 years of increasingly responsible experience in long-range planning and research or any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of: Principles and practices of planning, research and analysis; program and institutional accreditation processes and criteria; sources, uses, and types of planning data applicable to institutions of higher education; priorities, goals, and objectives of the College; educational objective setting and program evaluation; principles, practices, and techniques of strategic and operational planning; institutional policies and procedures; institutional assessment models and processes; and Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio or related Project Management software, SPSS, SAS or other analytical software. Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability To:
Read, interpret and apply complex rules, regulations, policies and procedures; organize, direct and implement a comprehensive institutional effectiveness and assessment process; strong, effective orally and written communication skills; analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed action, and recommend actions in support of goals; gain consensus through discussion and persuasion; create and publish Process Flow Charts; establish and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the College; monitor and administer a budget; hire and supervise staff, including appraising performance and training employees; ability to life up to fifty-five pounds; be able to pass a local records check/background investigation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
