The Administrative Assistant will support Department Managers by providing executive level gatekeeping, answering and transferring calls, scheduling appointments and calendar/schedule management in addition to other tasks as requested.

Gatekeeping, Phones, Calendars/Schedules, Maintenance of Correspondence & Filing/Documentation
Incoming Mail - read / route and prepare outgoing mail/correspondence (paper, email + fax)
Memos - compose/type, print and or copy all requested notes and documentation
Files - organize and maintain all files (some confidential)
Coordinate, arrange & plan meetings, agendas, and facilities
Record and transcribe meetings minutes
Event Planning and Preparation, 'Day of' Set Up and Execution
Assist various departments as needed

2+ years of Administrative / Support experience - department heads, managers, VPs
1+ year of Event Planning, Preparation & Execution
Solid software skills including MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
