Physician (Hematology/Oncology)
The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the VA Medical Center, Salisbury NC is seeking a physician with training, interest, and expertise in Hematology and Oncology.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in hematology and oncology.
The physician specialist is to join a multidisciplinary program providing complex inpatient and outpatient services with dedicated support staff and operational space.
Applicants should have skills and motivation for clinical patient care and teaching with responsibilities that include the supervision of fellows from Wake Forest University Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program.
We manage patients with both solid and hematologic malignancies as well as treat a large population with benign hematologic disorders.
The Oncology program is highly focused on outcomes and strongly encourages research activity.
There are opportunities for leadership in the area of clinical trials.
Candidates will have academic appointment with Wake Forest University Comprehensive Cancer Center commensurate on the level of experience and interest.
Work Schedule:
(Monday - Friday 8:
00 am to 4:
30 pm).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
