Master Data Management Analyst


Position
Summary:
Participates in data governance execution, maintenance and continual improvement in the Master Data Management platform, and various other day to day activities surrounding Master Data Management. Supports the successful execution of the Master Data Management strategy and vision.
Principle Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Conducts data analysis (SQL, Excel, Data Discovery, etc) on legacy systems and new data sources and provides summarized findings and recommendations to support decision-making by the leadership team.
o Creates Enterprise Data Models for the key Data Domains: Customer, Vendor, Location, Associate, Chart of Accounts, and Product through the use of deep retail knowledge, data modeling best practices, and adherence to the Master Data Management policies.
o Facilitates various aspects of the Delhaize America Data Governance Strategy through collaboration and communication with various functions within the business and varying levels of the organization.
o Assists with the development of business data requirements for master data by mapping system of origin data to target systems.
o Conducts impact analysis on changes to the Enterprise Data Model through the intelligent use of data lineage, exploratory data analysis, and Enterprise model analysis.
o Collaborates with cross-functional teams within IT and the business to drive Enterprise-level activities within the Master Data Management competency.
o Builds deep technical expertise in the selected Master Data Management technology in order to enable workflow development, business rule design, and system configuration.
o Delivers SDLC Deliverables as defined.
o Contributes to Business Case Development through information gathering and analysis, and providing recommendations for the technology direction and approach.
Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field.
o 4-6 years IT Experience.
o Outstanding communications skills; able to articulate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
o Ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions.
o 2 -4 years of working experience with SDLC and deliverables associated with each phase.
o Ability to multi-task and self-direct.
o Solid knowledge of Data Modeling and Advanced SQL techniques
o Basic knowledge of Web Services and SOA.
o 1-2 years' experience working with industry-leading Master Data Management tools e.g. IBM, Informatica, or SAP.
o 1-2 years' experience working with industry-leading ETL tools e.g. IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Oracle ODI.
o 1-2 years' experience working with industry-leading database technologies e.g. Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server
Skills and Abilities:
o Strong Organization Skills.
o Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
o Ability to interact with non IT associates and management on projects.
o Ability to plan and organize work to meet pre-established deadlines.
o Ability to work with their peers, associates and all levels of management.
o Ability to explain technical concepts in a non-technical fashion.
o Strong Analytical Aptitude.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
