Production Supervisor Manufacturing


Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned)

Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create Installation schedules that meet both internal and external needs.

Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for Installation operations, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area.

Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.

Plans flow of Installations through department to maximize installation throughputs.

Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Including maintaining detailed installation instructions.

Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve installation methods and quality of product.

Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment and processes to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.

Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

Maintains time and installation records. (Labor hours per system and % of labor efficiency)

Education- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability -Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Supervisory abilities - Directly supervises direct labor/production employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
Salary Target:
60,000.00 USD-United States Dollar Annually
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
