Vintage Technics RS-TR180 Dual Stereo Cassette Deck Tested READ DESCRIPTION The item is in decent physical condition. It has the usual scuffs and scratches as well as some rust on the bottom chassis.The unit seems to be mostly functional. Tape deck 1 seems to operate normally. Tape deck 2 seems to have issues with the auto reverse and rewinding. I have not tested the recording feature.The buttons are listed as "feather touch" and can be a bit finicky as some of the functions seemed to intermittently double register a press.The unit will need a good deep cleaning. I wiped down the outside and it is better, but looking inside the cassette decks you can see it needs to attention.All in all, I think that this unit can be restored to fully functional with some cleaning and attention or it can be used in the current semi-functional condition. It also looks like this unit is meant to have a remote control...no remote is included. See pictures for details.
